Branding and launching a vision in partnership with C-Level leaders
In early 2020, well-known business leader and philanthropist Kent Thiry and his personal support team approached Barefoot PR for assistance in developing a brand for and publicly launching a new nonprofit established by Thiry and dedicated to advancing Colorado as an inspiring and inclusive community known globally for innovation, collaboration and overall well-being. Colorado Thrives had been quietly working behind the scenes for nearly two years, bringing together a strong group of founding members (all established business leaders/CEOs from Colorado’s top companies) around a mission statement and a plan for bringing their vision to life through impactful investments; however, the organization had no visual brand or online presence, nor had it been publicly launched to the Colorado community
Barefoot PR hit the ground running and within two months developed a full visual brand, a foundational messaging platform and a website – www.coloradothrives.org. Once the website was live, Barefoot PR also coordinated a multi-faceted public launch which included an exclusive profile in the Denver Business Journal and content/tools for founding members to utilize when sharing the news about the launch with their own networks. Barefoot PR also supported the media outreach to announce Colorado Thrives’ first initiative in partnership with Boulder-based Techstars.
