Connecting Communities to Parks through Messaging

Our Challenge

With a new strategic plan, Denver Park Trust required strategic messaging that aligned with its organizational goals and its vision for the future of Denver’s park system. As Denver Parks and Recreation’s leading philanthropic partner, Barefoot PR was tasked with creating messaging that clarifies their role within the park system while addressing barriers to engagement and support.

Our Solution

To cultivate a robust park culture and drive meaningful investment, we developed a messaging framework that connected big picture park transformation to city-wide, communal and personal benefits. Through forward-thinking language, we positioned the organization as a trusted key player in driving long-term environmental, social and economic impact across Denver communities. As a result, we emphasized Denver Park Trust’s role as a relationship builder, connecting donors, community stakeholders, and Denver Parks and Recreation to create accessible, thriving outdoor spaces that enhance livability for all residents.

Results
