Accessibility Statement

Barefoot PR understands it’s essential that content is usable for all. Our web and graphic designers are trained in digital accessibility, so that people with disabilities can perceive all content without barriers. Members of our design and development team participate in training on best practices in accessible web design through Deque University and are well versed in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Standard Success Criterion. While we make every effort to ensure accessibility, we welcome feedback to better make our website accessible to all.

Measures to support accessibility

Barefoot PR takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of the Barefoot PR website and websites we design and build:

  • Web designers and developers are trained through the “Web Accessibility Deep Dive” online course with Deque University.
  • All staff are trained on best practices for digital design.
  • User testing with people that utilize different software to perceive content.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Barefoot PR aims to adhere to WCAG 2.2 level AA.
