Bridging the Gap with a Fully Web-Accessible Annual Report
Our Challenge
The Child Protection Ombudsman of Colorado remains dedicated to providing high-quality services within a complex child protection system. Their accomplishments and yearly highlights are featured in their annual report, which can be viewed online. To align with ever-changing technological advancements while prioritizing accessibility, the CPO partnered with Barefoot PR to design and deliver a fully web-accessible 2023-2024 annual report.
Our Solution
Barefoot PR facilitated a strategy session to identify the goals, design and accessibility requirements for the 2023-2024 annual report. We ensured the report met key standards In accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA, including proper color contrast, adding alt text to images and guaranteeing compatibility with accessibility tools like screen readers. As a final step, the report successfully passed the Adobe Acrobat Accessibility Checker.
