With a leading immersion model, Denver Language School (DLS) has remained a top Denver Public Schools charter school year after year. While the school is recognized by families for its academic excellence and vibrant culture, DLS saw the opportunity to strengthen its presence within the broader community. To help tell that story, Barefoot PR was brought on to develop clear, compelling messaging that further positions DLS as a leader in language immersion education and communicates the unique value of its model to diverse audiences.

The Barefoot team conducted in-depth community research to uncover messaging opportunities to amplify the organization’s impact. By synthesizing insights from DLS community members, education experts and city leaders, we developed a messaging strategy that underscores the value of expanding access to immersive language learning, clarifies perceptions around bilingual education institutions and highlights the benefits of language immersion for Denver communities. We also trained the DLS administrative team on how to incorporate this messaging into their conversations with key audiences.
