Using Thought Leadership to Elevate an Innovative Education Model
Our Challenge
After 15 years of excellence in language immersion education, Denver Language School (DLS) was eager to showcase its model’s success and elevate its staff’s expertise. The DLS team partnered with Barefoot PR to develop strategies to help them engage with local communities and demonstrate their expertise among regional and national policy, education and community leaders.
Our Solution
The Barefoot team immersed itself in DLS’s Chinese and Spanish language learning model and developed three main objectives for our recommendations: showcase DLS as a proven model, elevate the team’s expertise and strengthen its relationships within its communities.
With these goals as a guide, the Barefoot team outlined earned media, thought leadership, community engagement and social media tactics to elevate the impact of language immersion education. These recommendations included local and national networking, awards, events and media opportunities for DLS’s educators and administrators.
Barefoot PR also provided the DLS team with a customized Award Nomination and Ethical Story Collection Guide. The team outlined suggested implementation timing in a user-friendly editorial calendar to help the team organize their communications in the coming year.
