From Legacy to Leadership: Elevating Impact through Strategic Communications
Our Challenge
The John T. Vucurevich Foundation has been giving back to the Black Hills, South Dakota community through philanthropic investments for 40 years. As the foundation carries its founder’s mission and legacy of “making a piece of the world a brighter place” into the future, Barefoot PR was tasked with elevating its presence among key stakeholders while creating awareness and understanding of the value of philanthropy among new audiences.
Our Solution
Barefoot PR developed a comprehensive communications roadmap consisting of targeted multichannel campaigns for three primary audiences: community members, nonprofits, and partners. Each campaign leveraged distinct messaging that connected John T. Vucurevich’s founding values to the foundation’s current work. Recommendations encompassed earned media outreach, social media engagement, email campaigns, website enhancements and the development of original content, including case studies, impact reports and educational resources. This integrated approach created consistent touchpoints to increase understanding of the foundation’s intersectional funding strategy and the transformative value of strategic philanthropy.
