Maiker Housing Partners uses online platforms to market its affordable housing properties and communicate with residents. As the organization’s Agency of Record, Barefoot PR manages both Google listings and social media platforms for 10 properties. Maiker asked our team to establish a system to streamline the response process, effectively communicate updates with community members and respond to concerns posted online with compassion.
Barefoot PR implemented a review management platform to streamline online feedback management and keep community members engaged and updated online. The work includes:
- Drafting approved messaging and incorporating voice/tone to ensure all communications are in line with Maiker’s brand voice.
- Responding to individual reviews weekly using carefully crafted community-responsive language to honor each individual’s concerns, understand their frustrations and prioritize their requests.
- Working with Maiker’s staff to efficiently relay concerns to property managers and serve as a conduit for updates to community members.
- Standardizing the process for staff member follow up, including direct follow up from with community members via a phone call or email from a Maiker staff member as a result of a concern posted online.
