Making Conservation Personal Through Outcomes-Driven Messaging

Our Challenge

Palmer Land Conservancy is reimagining conservation to protect Colorado’s land and water for the well-being of nature and people. Despite local credibility and subject-matter expertise, Palmer wanted new messaging to unite distinct audiences, bring more people into the fold and shift conservation from something people watch from the sidelines to a practice they see themselves in. Barefoot PR was asked to create a platform that goes beyond the choir, broadening the relevance of Palmer’s work and inviting wider engagement across Colorado.

Our Solution

To honor Palmer’s strategic vision, one that aims to modernize conservation and position their work as something people want to be part of, we developed an outcomes-driven messaging platform alongside a comprehensive communications roadmap. The platform is designed to resonate across diverse audiences by highlighting what Palmer’s conservation work makes possible and what’s at stake without it. Our messaging lowers barriers, making it easier for individuals to engage and connect conservation work to what already matters in their lives. Through the platform, we solidified Palmer’s role as a trusted partner in creative, place-based solutions and cemented them as a brand people don’t just support but identify with.
