Civic Center Conservancy’s social media presence felt disconnected in 2021. As Denver’s most-visited park, its Facebook and Instagram profiles had focused only on event promotion and public safety messages and lacked a connection to the organization’s greater mission to engage individuals, businesses and community groups in this essential public space.
OurSolution
Combining new messaging built by the Barefoot team and leveraging the individual voices, partners and impact that make Civic Center Park active and thriving for all, we developed a consistent voice for the park. We also used our creative resources to share user-generated content from passionate Denverites, inspirational people who benefit from community-led park programs and engaging video content to elevate the work of the Conservancy.
Over the course of a two-year period, we saw a 30.4% increase in total audience growth, 79.6% increase in engagement rate and 167% growth in overall engagements across Facebook and Instagram.
