Creating a Website That Educates and Promotes Action

Our Challenge

Justice Necessary, a nonprofit that advocates and provides hygiene supplies, needed a website that was as bold and agile as they are as an organization. Certain sections were too long or buried within the site, and new content and priorities were cumbersome to build due to an extremely technical backend. Their new site needed to integrate a calendar of events, translation capabilities and a focus on educating the public about the challenges of period poverty.

Our Process

Through a collaborative Listening and Learning phase discussing goals for the new Justice Necessary site, Barefoot PR identified opportunities to make content more accessible, engaging, and educational. Every design and functionality choice was guided by the goal of connecting visitors emotionally to the issue of period poverty, while simplifying the way the organization could share updates and resources.
