Making Headlines in the Mile High City: Panda Fest’s Denver Debut

Our Challenge

Panda Fest, a new Asian Food Festival, was ready to make its Denver debut. Barefoot PR was hired to introduce the event to a new audience in Denver, a city that loves getting out and celebrating. The team needed to showcase what makes Panda Fest special and give Denverites a reason to make it a must-attend on their calendars, all within a focused promotional window. A clear, consistent story would be key to capturing the attention of local media and the community alike. Our goal was to build excitement from the ground up and turn first-time curiosity into ticket sales and attendance.<

Our Solution

Barefoot PR started by developing a high-level strategy with key messaging that captured the heart of Panda Fest and spoke directly to Denver audiences, giving every spokesperson, press release and social post a consistent voice. From there, we built a detailed event promotion plan that layered media outreach, community partnership recommendations and timely media pitching tied to the festival’s local debut. We led public relations efforts by targeting local TV, print, digital and lifestyle outlets with tailored story angles, coordinating interviews and facilitating on-site media opportunities. We also supported influencer outreach and engagement. The result was a cohesive, well-executed campaign that introduced Panda Fest to the Mile High City.
