2020 was a year like no other. For Maiker Housing Partners, the year started with the excitement of a name change and quickly turned a corner in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Maiker’s response to this unprecedented challenge was rapid, compassionate and strong. As the year came to a close, Maiker’s leadership team asked Barefoot PR to document the events of the year in a way that would honor the hard work of the nonprofit’s team and supporters but remain compassionate to the struggles that continue for so many in the wake of 2020.

Barefoot PR transformed Maiker’s 2020 annual report from paper to video. Our team drafted the storyboard and outlined key messages, then provided direction to ensure we captured the right moments and interviews and brought Maiker’s story to life in four compelling minutes. We also created a promotion plan to help Maiker share this nontraditional annual report with partners, supporters, staff and members.
