Showcasing 135 Years of Impact and Thought Leadership

Our Challenge

As Mile High United Way (MHUW) prepared to celebrate 135 years of serving the metro Denver community, leadership recognized the need to elevate the organization’s capacity for storytelling and thought leadership sharing. Having partnered with Barefoot PR in the past to support reactive media relations during the COVID-19 pandemic, MHUW engaged our team to develop and implement a Communications Roadmap that included earned media strategies as well as thought leadership tactics for elevating the voices of MHUW leadership.

Our Solution

Once the Roadmap was approved, our team served as the Agency of Record for MHUW, implementing proactive earned media outreach and securing opportunities to share thought leadership through OpEds, bylines and interviews. Over the course of nearly two years our team secured numerous positive media stories of MHUW’s impact, thought leadership and partnerships in local, regional and national media outlets. Our efforts also elevated MHUW’s celebration of its 135-year history in Denver and showcased the organization’s vision for the future.
