As a result of staff turnover and an internal focus on developing a new strategic plan, Aspen Community Foundation asked Barefoot PR to keep the communications wheels on the bus and provide short-term support for weekly communications with donors, partners, and the community.
Barefoot PR developed a three-month communications roadmap focused on year-end giving, grantmaking and highlighting nonprofit partnerships. We outlined content for social media, email newsletters and designed collateral, all thoughtfully curated week by week to keep approvals streamlined and communications consistent. As a result of this fill-the-gap contract, we were able to:
- Increase social media engagement by 444%
- Grow ACF’s social media audience by 202%
- Increase the email open rate to 50% by segmenting partner and donor emails
