Succinct Site Architecture as the Foundation for Impactful Storytelling

Our Challenge

The Boettcher Foundation has been giving back to Colorado for over 85 years, however the organization’s website was not connecting with its primary audiences. The Foundation chose Barefoot PR to redesign their website with two goals in mind: be a more creative storytelling resource for the Colorado community, and create clarity around Boettcher’s work and mission.

Our Solution

The new Boettcher Foundation website tells the organization’s story through a more elevated user experience. The reorganized site architecture allows users to see a more succinct view of the Foundation’s services. Barefoot PR focused Boettcher’s cumbersome blog into a digital magazine to highlight stories of leadership, alumni and changemakers in the Boettcher community. Through a simple tagging system, we incorporated storytelling throughout the site by posting relevant articles on interior pages. Finally, we adjusted colors and code for a more accessible web experience for all.
