Elevating oral health equity through accessible and user-informed web design
Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation provides oral health care solutions by providing grants, working with organizations across the state, advocating for policy solutions and supporting systemic change. However, their website was centered around one objective: grantmaking. Barefoot PR was tasked with creating a scalable site that was engaging and useful for different audiences.
Barefoot PR elevated impact storytelling on the new website while offering content that speaks to a wider audience. To do this, we tightened the site map to offer a more comprehensive picture of the important work the Foundation does, adding resources that speak to both providers and caregivers and featuring impact stories throughout. The new site incorporates image-focused design and remains scalable to build out data dashboards and additional storytelling. Our team also focused on accessibility, partnering with experts from Access Gallery to ensure the site is fully mobile-responsive, is navigable by keyboard and screen readers and utilizes appropriate hierarchy.
