Leading a community-informed rebrand


Growing Home is cultivating a thriving, healthy and equitable North Metro Denver by connecting people to services and programs to drive community action in the areas of food, housing, parenting education and lifelong stability. As the organization evolved and expanded service, they found themselves with a brand that did not match their culture or community. Barefoot PR was hired to lead the process to develop a fresh, welcoming and inclusive visual brand that spoke to Growing Home’s values and was informed by the North Metro Denver community they serve.


Barefoot PR conducted community conversations with members of the Growing Home community to inform the design process. We also identified defining characteristics that were missing from the original mark and brand. The result is a community-informed logo and brand identity that reflects the values of belonging, welcoming and growth that are integral to the organization’s service model and community.
