OurChallenge
Following the election of a new district attorney who was dedicated to reforming the prosecutor’s office, Barefoot PR was hired to refresh the brand and website for Colorado’s 1st Judicial District representing Jefferson and Gilpin counties. Our first challenge was to modernize the brand to reflect trust, accessibility and safety. Next, Barefoot PR was tasked with building a standalone website for the office apart from the county’s web platform that improved user experience and public accessibility, and promoted transparency of the work managed by the office.
OurSolution
Using the office’s original seal as inspiration, our design team incorporated a warm, modern and professional color palette to reinforce the DA’s mission to provide a safe and vibrant community. The updated seal’s design elements are crisp, reflecting the geography and history of the west metro area. Following the rebrand, Barefoot PR’s team built a website on the WordPress platform prioritizing accountability, transparency and access to programs and resources for victims. The new site also incorporates commonly used forms to eliminate an often time consuming extra step for the public. Barefoot PR then trained the DA’s office on how to manage the site ongoing.
