Enhancing accessibility, consistency and transparency for family advocates

Following a successful messaging project, Barefoot PR partnered with the Colorado Office of Respondent Parents Counsel (ORPC) to update the organization’s brand identity to reflect its refreshed voice and tone. The brand would need to address the organization’s desire to enhance accessibility, consistency and transparency while capturing the team’s vibrancy and professionalism.

After engaging in a period of due dilligence which included community conversations and a landscape analysis, Barefoot PR was prepared to capture the complexities of ORPC’s data-driven work and updated tone in a brand refresh. This new identity would be used for branded materials, event identity and signage, legislative one pagers and recruitment campaign collateral.

The brand signature for ORPC reflects the state they are currently working within, but remains flexible in case ORPC assumes a national stage. Barefoot PR preserved what the client appreciated about their dated logo while also updating it to create longevity and intrigue with fresh brand assets.

This work generated newfound interest and understanding of the organization’s mission — providing ORPC with a polished brand signature that would create a better experience for current clients and potential supporters alike.
